Authorities from Denver to Chicago are looking this morning (Monday) for a retired California man who disappeared from an Amtrak train. Train spokesperson, Marc Magliari, says 69-year-old, Charlie Dowd boarded an Amtrak train Wednesday in the San Francisco area. Dowd's son talked to him Thursday evening in the Denver area. Dowd's luggage, cell phone and medication arrived in Chicago without him on Friday. Dowd is a retired firefighter who is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds.
