Huskers Win; Pelini Leaves In Ambulance

The Nebraska Cornhusker's rolled to a win against a fast paced Arkansas State team 42-13 today in the 320th straight sold out game at Memorial Stadium. The Husker offense amassed 519 yards of offense, including 345 yards rushing.  RB Ameer Abdulah rushed for a career high 167 yards on 30 carries. QB Taylor Martinez had a strong day going 13/14 for 180 yards and 2 touchdowns. Martinez was also credited for 2 fumbles in two consecutive drives to start the 3rd quarter. The Nebraska defense bounced back from a disappointing game against UCLA allowing only 286 yards.  Head Coach Bo Pelini left the game during halftime and was taken to one of the Lincoln hospitals with what is being reported as 'flu-like symptoms'. Athletic Director Tom Osborne says that the decision to take Pelini to the hospital was 'strickly precautionary'. At the end of the game, there was no update on Pelini's status or condition.
