Ever wanted to ride a horse through the Sandhills? The 2012 Nebraska State 4-H Camp Trail Ride is scheduled for Oct. 12-14 at the State 4-H Camp near Halsey. Riders will take trails in the Nebraska National Forest. More than 100 people are expected to participate. You can bring your own horse if you have one; weed-free hay is available, as well as horse pens. Early registration is $50 before the Sept. 28 deadline.
