A new budget is on the books this morning (Wednesday) for Lincoln's public schools. The Board of Education last night (Tuesday) passed a $330 million spending plan, $9 1/2 million more than last year. The owner of a $150,000 house will pay almost $1,900 in property taxes to support Lincoln's public schools.
