Police Investigate Rash of School Burglaries



All across southwestern Nebraska and into Kansas, burglars are targeting schools and making off with expensive electronics. Now the FBI is joining the investigation. As many as 17 school break-ins have occurred over the summer. On August 9th, burglars broke into a Kansas high school and stole 150 iPads, 160 iPad chargers and 90 cases for the tablets for a loss of $75,000.
A July 31st burglary at a Cambridge, Nebraska, high school resulted in $50,000 worth of iPads, digital cameras and flat-screen TVs taken.
