LINCOLN -- A 30-year-old man is dead from an apparent stab wound during a fight Friday morning outside of a northeast Lincoln home. Neighbors called 911 just before 6am after seeing Benjamin Miller lying in the street near 59th and Madison. Lincoln Police Chief Jim Peschong says when officers showed up, they found a trail of blood leading to Miller, appearing as if he had been stabbed. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Peschong says early information indicates that there may have been an argument between the victim and another man, later identified as 27-year-old Joshua Albright, with a woman nearby. Albright suffered minor injuries to his forehead and right hand that required stitches. He and the woman were being questioned by police. No arrests have been made. The victim's name is not being released, pending notification of relatives. For now, Crime Scene techs have blocked off 59th Street from just south of Cleveland to Madison Avenue to continue the investigation.
