Speaker of the Legislature considers running in the governor's race
There may be a new republican candidate in the 2014 governor's race. Speaker of the Legislature Mike Flood says he's reaching out to rural Nebraskans as he ponders a run for governor. He says he will decide whether to enter the race sometime around September. Lieutenant Governor Rick Sheehy has already announced he plans to run in 2014, and has already been endorsed by Governor Dave Heineman.
