Regional Economy Slowed by Drought

Today's report shows July's Mid-America Business Conditions Index plunged below growth neutral for the first time since 2008. 50 is the breaking point...July's economic number was 48.7. Creighton University economist, Ernie Goss, says the drought has already harmed ethanol and food processors in the region.
