The new Sam's Club in southeast Lincoln is getting its liquor license after all. After voting it down a week ago, City Council members have changed their minds, not wanting to delay Sam's opening. The approval goes to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. A majority of council members voted against the Sam's license as a way of sending a message to WalMart officials they aren't happy the retail giant is going to build at 27th and Grainger, over the objections of neighbors.
