LINCOLN -- Three men are wanted following an attempted home invasion robbery Saturday afternoon in the 5300 block of Holdrege. Police Officer Katie Flood says a 34-year-old man was home with his two sons and his girlfriend when they heard a loud bang. Two men, armed with handguns, burst in and decided to leave when they saw the children. The suspects got into a dark-colored van driven by another man heading north. The suspects are described as men in their early to mid 20s, one a white or Hispanic man about 6-0 tall with a medium build and short brown hair. The other is a black man about 6-0 tall with medium length black hair. The driver is described as a white man in his early to mid 20s. Only $200 damage was done to the door and nothing was taken. Flood says they checking to see if the home was targeted by the suspects or picked at random.
