LINCOLN -- Scary moments for a 4-year-old Lincoln boy and his father, at a pool party Sunday in the 9300 block of Avon Lane. The boy wanted to get out of the swimming pool to go down a slip and slide with other kids. His father took off the child's life jacket so he could use the slide. Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner says once the four-year-old went down the slide, the father didn't see him immediately, until he looked into the pool. Wagner says the father jumped in and got the boy out of the pool. A doctor attending the party checked for vitals and there were none. The child was revived through CPR and rushed to Bryan LGH West where he was alert and responsive.
