Woman Locked Out of Car Robbed At Knifepoint

LINCOLN -- Arial">A 29-year-old woman locked out of her car is also out of at least $300 she had taken from her, during a robbery Monday night in the Haymarket. Lincoln Police were called to 7th and "P" Street, when a man walked up to the victim with what looked like a five-inch pocketknife and reached in the woman's purse for the money. Officer Katie Flood says the man tried unsuccessfully to unlock the victim's car and left on foot. He's described as a white man in his 50s, about 5-10 with a skinny build and tan skin. He also has light-colored eyes and a gray beard with brown streaks.
