LINCOLN -- Quick reaction from firefighters keeps a fire from further damaging a northwest Lincoln home. Fire crews were called to 1019 Benton just after 8:30am Monday about smoke coming from the roof of the house. Fire Captain Bret Davis tells KFOR News at the scene they pinpointed the fire around a light-fixture in the ceiling. He says it's too early to say if the fire is electrical in nature. No one was hurt in the fire and Red Cross officials are helping the residents to find a temporary place to live.
