LINCOLN -- Deputies are investigating a wire theft at Lincoln Electric System's Wagoner Substation east of Lincoln in the 12600 block of Adams. Lancaster County Chief Deputy Sheriff Bill Jarrett says sometime between June 14th and Wednesday someone cut the padlock on the east gate of the substation, removed covers and cut ground wires. Total loss is at $500. Jarrett says there are no suspects.
