LINCOLN -- A two car crash around 6am Friday at Cotner and "O" Street sends two people to the hospital. Lincoln Fire Batallion Chief Leo Benes tells KFOR News they had to extricate both drivers, who were then taken to the trauma center Bryan LGH West for what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries. Police Sgt. Jeri Roeder says traffic congestion at the time may have been a contributing factor in the crash. No citations have been issued.
