LINCOLN -- If you're planning on watching the Olympics in London this summer, make sure your measles vaccination is up to date. 13-hundred measles cases were reported in the United Kingdom by April... over 200 more than all of 2011. Symptoms include cough, fever and rash. Lincoln-Lancaster County Communicable Disease Program supervisor Tim Timmons tells KFOR News recent cases have started with someone travelling to America from a country with high measles rates. Outbreaks have been small and contained quickly.
