LINCOLN -- The NAIA Womens Golf Championships will come to Lincoln and be played at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course in 2013 and 2014. The announcement Tuesday from Doane College and Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau comes after the NAIA did a site check in early May. Doane was one of the three finalists for the tournament and it marks the first time that any mens or womens NAIA golf championship has been played in Nebraska. With the bid, Doane will also receive a host berth into the NAIA championship meet the next two years.
