New Proposed Amendment Gives Voters Opportunity to Expand Terms Limits
Nebraska lawmakers could serve 3 consecutive terms in office under a proposed constitutional amendment giving voters the opportunity to expand term limits. Holdrege Senator, Tom Carlson, presents his measure today (Wednesday) before the Legislature's Executive Board. Senators now can serve no more than 2 consecutive 4-year terms, but allows them to run again if they sit out for one term.
