Woman Injured During Robbery

LINCOLN -- Lincoln Police are looking for three people following an armed robbery early Thursday morning near 48th and Madison. Officer Katie Flood says a 33-year-old Weeping Water woman was leaving a friend's home in the area around 5:30a.m., when she was approached by a man and woman. Flood says the man allegedly demanded the woman's purse. The victim refused and was hit in the face by the man, then cut in her left arm by what she described as a pocketknife. The man and woman took off with the purse and hopped into a tan and white early 90s Ford Explorer driven by another man. Flood says they're looking for a white man in his mid 20s, about 6-0 with a thin build and a white woman in her early 20s with blonde hair. There were no other details in the description of the second man.
