Westerkamp Named Freshman Of The Week/Start Times Explored For Michigan State Game

LINCOLN -- Nebraska receiver Jordan Westerkamp has been named freshman of the week in the Big Ten.  Westerkamp caught the deflected 49-yard Hail Mary pass from Ron Kellogg III to beat Northwestern 27-24 on Saturday. It was the first touchdown of Westerkamp's career.  The redshirt freshman from Lombard, Ill., finished with four catches for 104 yards. Those are both career highs.  Westerkamp has played in all eight games and is the fourth-leading receiver on the team, with 14 catches for 194 yards.  The Cornhuskers play at Michigan this week.  ESPN/ABC has used one of its six-day pick options for the Nebraska-Michigan State game on Saturday, Nov. 16 in Lincoln. The game will be televised at 11 a.m. CT on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2, or at 2:30 p.m. CT on one of those networks. The game time and network will be determined on Sunday, or possibly late Saturday night.
