A group of veterans has endorsed Republican Senate Candidate Deb Fischer.  The group is headed by four retired  national guard generals, and State Senator Scott Price of Omaha.  Fischer told the group her main military priorities are converting the veterans administration to all-electronic medical records, reducing the backlog of V-A claims, providing tax credits to businesses that hire veterans, allowing veterans to receive their full military retirement and disability pay, and auditing the veterans administration to eliminate waste and make it more efficient. Fischer is running against Democrat Bob Kerrey for the Senate seat being vacated by Democrat Ben Nelson.
