Tornado Suspected In Nebraska Panhandle Damage



CHADRON, Neb. -- A tornado is suspected of damaging houses and outbuildings in a rural area of the northern Nebraska Panhandle. The National Weather Service says the twister was reported just after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday about 19 miles south-southwest of Chadron. No injuries have been reported. Law enforcement reported the twister about seven miles southwest of Red Cloud Campground. The weather service also says trees and power lines were downed. The tornado report hasn't been confirmed.
