Deputies are investigating a theft from a home construction site near Walton. Lancaster County Sheriff's Captain Ben Houchin said construction workers and the property owner reported that someone took various tools, copper wiring, cable and electrical wiring from the site in the 10300 block of "A" Street sometime between 3:00 Sunday afternoon and Monday morning around 7:45. There are no suspects and the total loss is a little more than $2,000.
