TORONTO (AP) - Former sprint champion Donovan Bailey has been charged with drunken driving. The five-time world and 1996 Olympic champion from Canada has been charged with having a blood-alcohol level of more than 80 milligrams while driving in Toronto. College home run derby returns to Omaha in July

Applications to be taken for Neb. big game permits

Huskers Set To Host Final Weekend Series Agaisnt Minnesota

The final three-game home series of the regular season for the Nebraska Baseball team starts Friday night at Haymarket Park, as the Huskers take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers. State Baseball Tournament This Weekend

The NSAA State High School baseball tournament starts tomorrow in Lincoln. Seven Lincoln area teams are playing in the tournament. In Class A at Sherman Field, East faces top seed Creighton Prep at 10am, followed by Lincoln Southwest and Millard North at 1pm. Northeast plays Millard West at 7pm. 

State Baseball Tournament Pairings Are Out

Seven Lincoln area teams will be participating in the 2012 NSAA State High School Baseball Tournament that starts Saturday.  In Class A over at Sherman Field, top-seed Omaha Creighton Prep faces No. 8 Lincoln East at 10am, followed by No. 4 Millard North and No. 5 Lincoln Southwest at 1pm.  No. 7 Lincoln Northeast plays the No. 2 seed Millard West at 7pm.  

TV Times Set For Three Nebraska Football Games
The Big Ten Conference and ABC/ESPN have announced that three 2012 Nebraska football games have been selected for prime-time telecasts. Nebraska home games at Memorial Stadium against Wisconsin on Sept. 29 and Michigan on Oct. 27, and its road game at Ohio State on Oct. 6 will all kick off at 7 p.m. CT.

2012 Shrine Bowl Teams Announced
The players and coaches for the 2012 Shrine Bowl were announced Friday. The game will be played June 2 @ Memorial Stadium and will be at 1:30 p.m., since the lights at Memorial Stadium will not be available for use.
