Work is about to begin on re-building two busy stretches of road in rural areas just outside Lincoln. The county board today gave the go-ahead for West Denton Road between Southwest 12th and Southwest 56th, and the final portion of 98th street between A street and Van Dorn. Don Thomas of the county engineer's office says they will clear trees this winter, then begin work on the road in spring. The road will be shut down during construction. Thomas says it should be done by September.
