Lincoln Pius X has won their second state baseball championship, by defeating Omaha Skutt 7-5 in the Class B title game yesterday at Papillion's Werner Park. It was a close one for the Thunderbolts, as Ryan Junker recorded the final strikeout in the 7th, with Skutt having runners on base. Nolan Hakel hit a bases clearing triple in the 1st inning and scored on a two-run homer from Nolan Meyer for an early lead. Pius X finishes 26-6 on the season. The Thunderbolts have played in the championship game three years in a row, winning it in 2012.
