Omaha Man Killed in Hit-and-Run was Creighton University Doctor
The victim of a fatal hit-and-run crash was a Creighton University doctor. Edward Horowitz, an associate professor of medicine at Creighton, was crossing Dodge Street at a crosswalk with the proper signal when he was hit Sunday afternoon by a drunk driver. 31-year-old, Pedro Diego-Antonio, is in jail on suspicion of motor vehicle homicide, felony drunken driving and leaving the scene of a crash. A 23-year-old passenger went to jail for being an accessory to motor vehicle homicide.
