No. 20 Nebraska Rides 9-Game Streak To 2nd In B10



LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - The 20th-ranked Nebraska women's basketball team has won nine straight and is the hottest team in the Big Ten.
The Cornhuskers (21-6, 11-3) play at Wisconsin (11-16, 3-11) on Thursday night. If the Huskers win, and league-leading Penn State is upset at Minnesota, they'll play the Nittany Lions in Lincoln for a share of the regular-season championship Sunday.
Coach Connie Yori said Wednesday she knew her injury-plagued team wasn't "terrible" after it started 2-3 in Big Ten play.
Yori changed the defense from a full-court pressure style to a physically less-taxing man-to-man.
Over the last nine games, the Huskers are allowing just under 53 points a game. Opponents are shooting 35 percent overall and 25 percent on 3-pointers.
