Midland University in Fremont has set a record for an incoming class. The school has welcomed 488 new students, including 364 freshmen and 120 transfers. It's the largest incoming class in the school's 130 years. University officials say the growth is because of the college's four-year graduation guarantee program. Under the program, Midland is committed to pay the remaining tuition and fees should a student who meets basic requirements fail to graduate in four years. President Ben Sasse says it's up to colleges to advise well enough and to schedule classes efficiently enough for students to graduate in four years. This year's incoming class is 32 percent higher than last year and marks the third year of growth for incoming classes.
