LINCOLN -- If you know anyone who may have been in contact with 32-year-old Robert Schuster of Martell between 2002 and 2010, Lancaster County Sheriff's deputies would like to talk to you. Sheriff Terry Wagner says in May, a man told them he was been sexually abused by Schuster when he was a child in 2005. Further investigation revealed there were three other victims in Lancaster County, two of them saying sexual contact happened in Council Bluffs, Iowa on several occasions between 2008 and 2010. Wagner says Schuster apparently would position himself to be in contact with younger children. In what capacity Schuster was interacting with children is still under investigation, according to Wagner. Schuster is in the Pottawattamie County, Iowa jail, facing 22 felony counts of third-degree sexual assault. As a result of this investigation, Wagner says Schuster has two felony warrants for first degree sexual assault in Lancaster County. The sheriff also says there could be more victims between 7 and 16-years-old at the time that may have encountered Schuster through various social activities.
