
A 49-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a methamphetamine-related death from 2011. Charles Blowers was taken into custody yesterday (Thursday) in Denver, Colorado after an arrest warrant was issued on January 7th for his involvement in the death of 26-year-old Latrice Shaner. An autopsy determined that Shaner died of toxicity related to meth ingestion. Authorities say that Blowers supplied the drugs that led to Shaner's death. Blowers was eventually brought up on state charges for delivery & possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and manslaughter. He is in Colorado awaiting extradition back to Lincoln. Officer Flood said that those who provide drugs to overdose victims will be vigorously pursued regardless of the time frame involved.Pictured: Charles Blowers, Latrice Shaner
