Last night (Wednesday) over a period of nearly ninety minutes, Joseph Rose repeatedly wandered in and out of the U-Stop convenience store on West O Street. The last time he came in, he rummaged through the trash for some donuts and was told he couldn't, for health reasons. Rose got upset and police had to be called. On the security video, officers found out that Rose was shoplifting; he had taken 3 packs of beef jerky, 3 lighters and a couple of packs of gum. He was taken to jail for a $9.91 crime.
