According to a 24/7 Wallstreet (247wallst.com) article, Lincoln is the fourth best-run city in America. The online financial news and opinion site listed Lincoln’s unemployment rate, which is the lowest among all metropolitan areas in the country, increase in home values and the University of Nebraska flagship campus as factors in Lincoln’s top 5 ranking. Omaha came in at number sixteen on the list; according to the site, Plano, Texas is the best run city in America. The worst run city was San Bernardino, CA which lists a high crime and unemployment rate as well as decreasing home values among its problems.
