Lincoln Man Found With Guns, Ammo and Meth Outside Retailer

LINCOLN -- More than 100 grams of meth, several firearms and ammunition are recovered during a search of a man's vehicle and storage unit over the weekend.   Lincoln Police were tipped off by a shopper on Friday morning walking in the parking lot of Walmart near 27th and Yankee Hill Road, where 25-year-old Benjamin Martin was found slumped behind the wheel of his car with ammo in his lap.  Officers showed up and saw Martin passed out.  They later found a gun wrapped up in a blanket under the front seat before finding more weapons, ammo and 15 grams of meth in the trunk.  Officer Katie Flood says a search warrant used Sunday at Martin's storage unit on South 14th Street found 112 grams of meth and paraphrenalia.  Martin was arrested for weapons and drug-related charges.  Officer Flood says they believe Martin had no intention of trying to harm anyone or himself.
