LINCOLN -- Fewer Lincoln businesses are selling tobacco products to minors. The sales rate was 14% in 2011. Last year, it was just under 8%. Public Health Educator Brian Baker says when communities consistently conduct compliance checks and keep the sale rate below 10%, children in those communities are less likely to use tobacco products. 3 businesses sold tobacco to minors more than once last year...Save Best Foods at 1111 North 27th, Jack Pot Convenience at 5th and West A and Discount City at 5560 South 48th.
