Lexington Man Gets Prison for Fatal Stabbing

(8-19-14) A 22-year-old man has been sent to prison for fatally stabbing another Lexington resident. Navor Millan pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

Millan was sentenced in Dawson County District Court to consecutive sentences of 12 to 20 years for manslaughter and two to five years for using a deadly weapon.

Millan was arrested after the Dec. 28 slaying of 21-year-old Douglas Matzar. Police say the incident started when Millan got into a disagreement with some other young men in a parking lot. They all went to a Lexington residence, where the argument turned physical.
