BOYS TOWN, Neb. -- Boys Town will present Tom Lehman with its most prestigious award when the professional golfer visits the world renowned home for troubled youth next week. Lehman, who will be in Omaha for the U.S. Senior Open, will receive the Father Flanagan Award for Service to Youth. Boys Town announced Monday that Lehman is being honored for his work with numerous charities whose focus is helping children. He serves on the board of Elevate Phoenix, a mentoring program in Arizona, and is involved with at least a half-dozen other organizations. Boys Town says the award is given to "individuals who dedicate themselves to helping children. The person must have made a significant contribution to youth and continue to further influence young people by an exemplary public and private life."
