LPD Investigate Third Cab Driver Robbery

LINCOLN -- A lot of robbery cases in the past week in an area of southwest Lincoln, mainly in an area from 13th to 19th Streets, "C" to "F" Streets.  They've ranged from pizza delivery drivers to taxi drivers being robbed at gunpoint.  Police Officer Katie Flood says the latest case involves a cab driver who was robbed at gunpoint in the 16th and "C" neighborhood just after midnight Friday morning. The driver was waiting to pick up customers, when an armed man got into the back seat and demanded money.  Another man came up to the driver's side window and demanded money.   One of the men grabbed some property and cash and both ran into a nearby alley.  The first suspect in the back seat is described as a white male, about 22 years old, 5-6, 140 pounds wearing a white shirt.  The other is a black male, 26-years-old, 6-0, 170 pounds, with short facial hair.
