Nebraska's jobless rate hasn't changed in the past month. The State Labor Department says the rate for August stayed the same as July at 4%. It's down from a half-percent compared to the same time period a year ago. Nationally, the unemployment rate for August was 8.1%, down two-tenths of a percent from July.
