Husker Baseball Edge Spartans

In front of more than 11,000 fans at TD Ameritrade Park last night (Thursday), the Nebraska baseball team improved to 2-0 at the Big Ten Tournament with a 3-2 victory over the Michigan State Spartans.  Head Coach Darin Erstad says he's pleased with how his team played in front of the record crowd. Husker pitcher Aaron Bummer pitched seven innings and struck out seven Spartan batters. The Huskers will have today (Friday) off and will be back on the field tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 9 a.m. to take on either Iowa or Indiana.
