LINCOLN -- Skilled members of Nebraska Task Force One are in the Oklahoma City area to help with search and rescue efforts after a ferocious tornado slammed into the southern suburb of Moore, Oklahoma on Monday. At least 24 people have been killed. A spokeswoman for the Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office says as many as 40 more deaths could eventually be added to the toll. At least 9 of the dead are children. Rescuers spent the night digging through the rubble of destroyed buildings, including a school.
