Germany advances at women's U20 World Cup



URAWA, Japan (AP) - Defending champion Germany beat Norway 4-0 Friday to advance to the semifinals of the women's under-20 World Cup.
Lena Lotzen opened the scoring in the fifth minute when she converted a perfect cross from Dzsenifer Marozsan and Melanie Leupolz doubled the lead two minutes later, picking up a rebound and firing past Norway goalkeeper Nora Gjoen.
Lotzen made it 3-0 with a superbly struck left-footed shot in the 20th and Luisa Wensing completed the scoring with a header in the 85th.
Germany will face Japan in the semifinals on Tuesday.
The United States faces North Korea in the other quarterfinal later Friday.
