LINCOLN -- No injuries in a fire that started in a vacant home at 1525 South 11th Street. The first call came in shortly after 5am Friday, after someone reported smelling smoke. A police officer responding to the scene saw the fire inside the house. Fire Captain Scott Bastin tells KFOR News at the scene the gas feed into the house had been shutoff, indicating possibly that no one was living at the house. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
