A new drop off box becomes available today (Monday) at the Lancaster County Election Commissioner's Office for early and absentee ballots. Also this week, special sites across Lincoln and throughout the county will allow you to register without a trip to the Election Commissioner's office. (SCHEDULE THIS WEEK)...Monday from 6-7 they'll be at the Walt Branch Library on south 14th. Tuesday from 5-6 they'll be at the Bethany Branch Library on North Cotner....and at The Lincoln campus of Doane College. (Wednesday a 5:30 to 6:30 clinic will be held at the Anderson Branch Library at Fremont and Touzalin. Thursday registrations will be taken from 5:30 to 6:30 at the Williams Branch Library in Lincoln...and from 4-6 pm at the Jack and Jill Grocery in Hickman. Saturday registration can be completed at the Eiseley Branch Library at 15th and Superior, from 11 am to noon, and on Sunday at the Gere Library, at 56th and normal, from 1-2 pm.)
