LINCOLN -- Police are looking for the man who robbed a downtown Lincoln bank just before 9:30am Thursday. Captain David Beggs tells KFOR News at the scene outside of the Nebraska Bank of Commerce at 250 North 14th Street the suspect walked in and showed a note to a teller, before taking off on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Beggs says they are looking for a white male, about 5-7 to 5-8 with a heavy build, wearing a dark-colored ball cap, sunglasses, a brown shirt and tan cargo pants. He was also carrying a black backpack and had bandages on his face. If you have information on the suspect, call Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
