By the end of the day, there will likely be a new City Council member and it is expected to be Lloyd Hinkley. The realtor and former council member is expected to be approved for the at-large seat on the council vacated by Adam Hornung. Hornung, who resigned with 5 months left in his term, cited the time and travel demands of his new job as reasons. Hinkley was chosen from among 4 finalists who emerged from a list of 25 applicants. Hinkley served 2 full terms on the council in the 1960's. He has indicated that he will not run for a full term in the spring election.Pictured: Lloyd Hinkley
