A spark from a chainsaw caused a grass fire to blacken 800 acres in western Nebraska. Logan County fire officials say the fire began Tuesday afternoon along U.S. Highway 83 south of Stapleton. Nearby fire crews helped battle the blaze into Wednesday morning. No injuries have been reported.
