Do you know a person who has gone out of their way to help a Veteran? Nominate them for the Bill Harris Friend of a Veteran Award.  Your nomination can be any kind hearted person who has gone above and beyond to help a Veteran.

This award is named after Lincoln's former mayor, Bill Harris, who help develop the Veterans Gardens in Antelope Park.  In that same spirit, we are asking you to nominate someone who has gone out of their way to be a special friend to our veterans.  Simply fill out the form below to submit your nomination.  The award will be presented during the Veteran's Freedom Music Festival June 15th on the Veteran's Affairs Grounds, 600 S. 70th Street.
