A Beatrice man is one of 5 suspects believed to have killed 2 deputy sheriffs in LaPlace, Louisiana. The Beatrice Daily Sun reports Kyle Joekel was arrested yesterday (Thursday) west of New Orleans. Joekel was last seen in Beatrice a year ago making threats to people and police in a Barneston bar.
