A 37-year-old Lincoln man has turned himself in to police on a felony charge of altering a lottery ticket. Lincoln Police Officer Katie Flood said that Jonathan Tonniges apparently had a non-winning ticket and changed it to make it look like it was a winning ticket for $35,000. Tonniges' girlfriend had taken the ticket down to the Nebraska Lottery office on October 11th to claim her prize. An investigator with the State Department of Revenue was brought in and noticed the ticket had been tampered. The 31-year-old woman who turned in the ticket was not cited.Pictured: Jonathan Tonniges
